What non-religious people believe

  • Some non-religious people call themselves .

  • Humanists believe that everybody has one life and that we should try to live it well.

  • They use  to try to understand the world.

  • Humanists and many other non-religious people don't have a place of worship.

  • They meet up to talk, celebrate and learn in many different places, for example at museums, libraries or parks.

How non-religious people show care

  • Being kind and thoughtful is important to many people, whether religious or non-religious.

  • Some non-religious people follow the Golden Rule as a way to show care. The Golden Rule says treat others as you would like to be treated.

  • Humanists and many other non-religious people often care for humans, animals and the world. They try to help so everyone can live a good and happy life.

  • They show care in different ways, such as helping to look after the environment or helping people.
