How to spark creativity
In the world of art, everyone has the chance to be creative.
This is the time you can use your imagination freely, create something you have been thinking about and be inventive.
All you need is an idea or thought which you can explore.
There are many ways we can do this.
Think about what your theme is and what your teacher has asked you to do.
How would you design your own bedroom?

Mood boards
This is a board that shows a collection of your ideas. It could include colour samples, photographs, drawings, materials you would like to use and words to describe what you want to make.
A mood board can be used to gather your ideas and let you see all those ideas in one place before you start designing.

Scrapbooks
Scrapbooking is another way to collect your ideas and keep them in one place.
All you need to do is find a blank book and fill it with ideas, photos, pictures, colours and words that have popped into your head when you have thought about a particular project.
Parts of pictures and materials can be cut out or torn and placed into your scrapbook. Best of all, it doesn’t have to be perfect or neat. Think of it as being a bit like your mind - a place to gathering ideas and explore them with freedom.
Let your creativity run free and see what you come up with!
