Kidney Kids Appeal jewellery collection

Turn your unwanted jewellery into a donation for the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ WM Kidney Kids Appeal

Kidney Kids Appeal

Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ WM Kidney Kids Appeal has set up a jewellery collection that will help fund the important work of Birmingham Children’s Hospital, and benefit the environment.

This is your chance to root out those unwanted necklaces, earrings, watches and any other trinkets from your jewellery box, which can then be turned into a donation for the Kidney Kids Appeal.ΜύΜύ

Even damaged, broken and incomplete items will help, so those odd earrings and broken chains that you can no longer wear are a great start.

Jewellery already donated by the public

As you can see from the pictures, our collection chest at the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Birmingham Public Space is already glimmering with your donations, but there is always room for more!

Hidden treasure

All of your donations will be carefully sifted through, so that more valuable items can be sold, and the rest recycled. Either way, each piece of jewellery received will help towards our grand total.

Please bring your unwanted jewellery to the Public Space at Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Birmingham, on the 7th floor of the Mailbox, or pop it in an envelope and post free of charge to Kidney Kids, Freepost, Central Recycling.

Old broken jewellery can be recycled too

There are also collection points at the following venues: Tourist Information Centre in the Merry Hill Centre, Information Centre at Touchwood in Solihull, Customer Care Centre at Birmingham Rag Market, Customer Care Desk at Pallasades Shopping Centre above New Street Station, the Ask Me Point at Gracechurch Shopping Centre, Sutton Coldfield, Walsall Market at the catering van atΜύ on Mondays and Wednesdays, and the fish stall on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, Bloxwich MarketΜύgreeting cards stall and Darlaston Market catering van.

Why recycle jewellery?

Recycling jewellery components reduces the demand for raw materials. Many parts of the world have been blighted by mining and quarrying, which destroy the natural environment and wildlife habitats.

Old watches are gratefully recieved

Mines can cause environmental and health problems for local people. Recycling is one way in which our community can lessen its use of resources and help protect the environment.

Everything you give us is exchanged for cash, recycled and put to good use!

More of your generous donations

So have a look through your trinket boxes, and help the Kidney Kids Appeal. If you can, please ask your friends and family to participate. Thank you very much to all of you who have sent your donations in, the Kidney Kids Appeal really appreciates your support.
