"We've been writing on and off our whole lives," they told Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ WM's Brett Birks and Louise Brierley live on Introducing.

Andy has a degree in popular music and recording and was also a finalist in the 2007 UK Songwriting Contest.

"We're not playing too many gigs at the moment," he said. "We've both got a lot going on but but love the writing process so that's what we're concentrating on the most rather than performing.

"We love going to a Starbucks, sitting down and coming up with lyrics. We've found that we don't get quite as much done if we go to the pub!"
