All tickets are issued on behalf of the ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ and all ticket holders are subject to the terms and conditions indicated here and displayed on the premises, any of which may be changed at the ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔβs discretion. The use of the ticket signifies agreement to the following:-
General admission tickets for the Friday event will cost: Β£30 (+ Β£2.00 booking fee per ticket).
General admission tickets for the Saturday and Sunday events will cost: Β£59 (+ Β£5.00 booking fee per ticket) and Enhanced Seating Area admission tickets will cost Β£155 (+ Β£6.20 booking fee per ticket).
Refunds will only be considered if the event is cancelled or postponed. You can only purchase a maximum of six tickets per person per day of the event.
PLEASE NOTE that any and all transactions detected as bot purchases, patrons creating duplicate accounts in order to purchase more than the ticket limit or any action that indicates a suspicious purchase in excess of the ticket limit will be cancelled. The ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ will not accept any liability for transactions cancelled in these circumstances.
30% of General admission tickets will be reserved for purchase for residents within the Lancashire area. To ensure you are eligible to purchase these tickets, you will need to enter the postcode of your home address at the time of purchase.
Lancashire postcodes include: Blackburn with Darwen, Hyndburn, Rossendale, Ribble Valley, Burnley, Pendle, Chorley, South Ribble, Blackpool, Fylde, Wyre, West Lancashire, Lancaster and Preston.
Any remaining tickets from the Lancashire area allocation remaining after 08:15 on Tuesday 11th June will be made available to all UK postcodes.
The booking process for ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 2 In The Park will be handled by Ticketmaster and customers will be transferred to their site to complete their purchase. The ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ is not responsible for the content of 3rd party apps and any personal data exchanged as part of signing up to the Ticketmaster App and purchase of tickets will be held by Ticketmaster as controller and processor of that personal data.
Please note that anyone who does not already have a Ticketmaster account will need to create one in order to purchase tickets. Having a Ticketmaster account does not guarantee success in the application to make a ticket purchase. If successful, tickets will be in the form of e-tickets (electronic tickets) which will be sent to the purchaser via the Ticketmaster App within 2-weeks of the event date, and the Ticketmaster App will be required to show the e-tickets on entry to the event.
Age restrictions
With the exception of children aged 2 years and under all those attending the event will need a valid ticket. PLEASE NOTE that anybody aged under 18 MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18 and over. Proof of age may be requested upon entry. Tickets should be retained at all times during the event.
ID checks may be carried out at the entrance, with the following forms of ID accepted: a valid passport; valid Photocard Driving Licence; or a valid photographic identity card bearing the National Proof Of Age Standards Scheme (PASS) hologram.
Anyone breaking the rules and regulations governing the ticket purchase process may have any purchased tickets cancelled without notice and the ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ will not accept any liability for tickets cancelled in these circumstances.
Ticket Use Terms & Conditions
The ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ has engaged Festival Republic Limited (βFRβ) to manage the event on its behalf. Reference to FR is made where applicable below.
1. The ticket is subject to the rules and regulations of the ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ which may be changed at its sole discretion.
2. All those attending the event will need a valid ticket which will be made available to all ticket holders in the Ticketmaster App. Tickets must be presented to be scanned at point of entry. Tickets remain the property of the ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ.
3. If you are unable to attend the event, and the event has sold out, you may be able to sell your tickets at face value via Ticketmasterβs Fan to Fan resale function. Bar this exception, tickets may NOT be sold, traded, or offered for sale; and may not at any time be used as a prize or for any other promotional or trade purpose by any individual or organisation other than the ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ.
Tickets are individually bar coded. Unofficial sale or attempted sale is grounds for seizure or cancellation of this ticket and those trying to use resold or cancelled tickets will be refused entry into the event. Should this ticket be re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the nominated ticket agents, it will become void, and the holder may be refused entry to, or ejected from, the venue.
Bag Restrictions and Prohibited Items
In the interest of safety, only 1 small bag is permitted per person with the following dimensions:
W21cm X H30cm X D8cm (about the size of an A4 bag).
Food for personal consumption can be brought into the event but must fit within the permitted bag size.
** Please ensure you have checked the list of prohibited items (see paragraph 8 of the Ticket use Terms & Conditions) and full bag policy**
No alcoholic drinks may be brought into this event or taken away from this event. They will be confiscated at the gates and disposed of. Each person is permitted to bring in:-
- 1 x sealed plastic bottle or paper carton containing up to 500ml of water or soft drink (including juice).
- An empty plastic or metal water bottle up to 1l capacity to be filled at water points in the event arena free-of-charge.
In the interest of safety and security, please do not bring any glass items to this event (including bottles, perfume & aftershave).
4. Alcohol will be on sale in the event arena. No alcohol may be purchased or consumed by those under the age of 18. Proof of age will be requested from anyone who looks under 25 years of age. The only accepted forms of ID will be a photo card driving licence, passport, or a proof or age card bearing the PASS hologram e.g. Citizen card or Validate card. No photocopies of any of the listed forms of ID will be permitted. Security patrols will also be in operation to prevent anybody under the age of 18 attempting to consume alcohol.
5. Large bags are not allowed to be taken into the event. There is no cloakroom. See Bag Restrictions above for the dimensions of small bag permitted to be brought to the event.
6. One folding chair or shooting stick or picnic blanket is permitted on site per person. They can only be set up within the designated area on site as signposted and depicted on the site map. Please be aware that umbrellas more than 1m long are not permitted.
7. For safety reasons, and to ensure the comfort of those attending the event, the management reserves the right to reduce the overall footprint of your chosen seating area.
8. As well as items mentioned elsewhere in these terms and conditions, the following articles are NOT permitted on site: Glass items of any kind (including bottles, dishes, drinking vessels, perfume or aftershave), metal or ceramic knives or cutlery, cork screws, cheese and bread knives (unless wooden or plastic cutlery), barbeques (including disposable barbeques and camping stoves), flags, flag poles, golf/large umbrellas (1 metre or more), selfie sticks, hampers or cool boxes, flaming torches, candles or naked flames, flares, Chinese lanterns, fireworks, kites, gazebos, tents or shelters, tables, bicycles, generators, spray cans, unmanned aerial vehicles/devices (drones), smoke or gas canisters/cylinders (including aerosols and nitrous oxide), no items associated with taking NOS (canister, balloons, cartridges), no gas devices or smoking devices (excluding vapes), megaphones, air-horns, aerosols, backpack hydration packs, sound systems, weapons, dangerous or hazardous items, laser devices, zoom lenses, cinematographic equipment, audio visual equipment, unidentifiable substances, illegal substances, unauthorised items for trading, including any goods using unauthorised event logos or unofficial tabards, unauthorised reflective jackets, no medication unless recognisable or accompanied by a doctorβs note or prescription, and any article that might be used as a weapon and / or compromise public safety. Confiscated items cannot be returned upon exiting the festival site.
9. The use of drones or similar equipment for any reason is strictly forbidden on site without written permission from ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ or FR.
10. Fires are not permitted anywhere on site. Anyone involved with starting a fire or throwing anything onto a fire will be evicted from site. No candles or naked flames will be permitted.
11. Do not bring drugs including legal highs to the event. You may be rejected/ejected from the event and handed over to the police if found in possession. Sniffer dogs may be in operation.
12. The event is outdoors, you are strongly advised to bring appropriate clothing and footwear to protect against potentially inclement weather. The site ground is mostly grass and we would ask audience members to wear footwear appropriate for the conditions and exercise due care when walking to and around the site- please be aware that if there is rain before or during the event, the site could become more difficult to navigate.
13. Unauthorised professional photography or use of professional recording equipment is prohibited and zoom lenses, audio visual or cinematographic devices will not be permitted on site.
14. No animals will be permitted, other than pre-registered and approved assistance dogs.
15. The ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ reserves the right to cancel and/or amend this event and/or the ticket process at any stage, if deemed necessary in their opinion, or if circumstances arise outside their control. They also reserve the right to alter or change the programme and line-up without prior notification.
16. Should the event be cancelled, or the line-up changed, neither the ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ nor FR will be liable for the payment of any compensation or for any loss of money and/or expenses incurred including any event administration fees and cost of travel to/from the venue. In the event of cancellation of the entire event only the face value of the ticket will be refunded. Applications for refunds should be obtained via the point of purchase and requested no later than 3 months after the event.
17. There is NO RE-ADMISSION. Once you have left the venue, you will not be able to return. Last entry for the event will be 21:30 on Friday, 20:30 on Saturday and 20:30 on Sunday.
18. The ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ or FR on its behalf reserve the right to refuse anyone entry to the site at their discretion and any person who fails to comply with instructions from a steward or other person acting on behalf of the ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ and/or FR may be ejected without a refund. In addition, anyone found to be causing damage to the site, the site infrastructure, causing harm to any other person on site, using threatening, abusive or insulting words or mannerisms, behaving in an illegal, anti-social or aggressive manner, appearing to be under the influence of drugs or in breach of these conditions will be ejected without a refund and may be reported to the police.
19. The ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ or FR on its behalf have the right to search all persons and personal property, with bag searches and potentially via the use of full body metal detectors or wands. They will refuse admission to, or eject from site, any person who refuses to be searched by a steward or other person acting on their behalf.
20. Neither the ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ nor FR shall be liable for any loss, damage, cost, or expense, except in the case of death or personal injury if due to any negligent act or omission on their part.
21. Persons attending the event are responsible for their own valuables. Neither the ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ nor FR will be liable for any loss or damage to personal property brought to the venue.
22. ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 2 In The Park will be filmed and recorded for live transmission and availability on demand, including internet streaming. Ticket holders give their express consent to the use of their actual or simulated likeness in connection with the production, exhibition, advertising or exploitation of any film, video and/or audio recording of this event and/or any element thereof in any/all media throughout the world by the ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ and any authorised partners. They also agree to being filmed by police or security staff for the purposes of helping ensure the security of customers and preventing crime.
23. Please use the bins and recycling points provided on and off the event site.
24. If before or during the event you have a complaint in relation to the event (including without limitation in relation to your ability to view the event) please contact a steward as soon as possible β complaints are very difficult to deal with after the event.
25. WARNINGS - Prolonged exposure to loud noise may cause damage to your hearing. Smoke effects, strobe lighting, lasers, pyrotechnics, and loud noises may be used at this event.
26. It is against the law to smoke in enclosed spaces, this includes tents. Please observe the signage around the event arena.
27. Admission to this event is subject to the terms and conditions, and any other entry requirements recommended or required by government on the date of the event. By purchasing a ticket, you confirm you agree to this, and in particular, all safety measures the ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ may implement to prevent the spread of COVID-19 or any other communicable diseases.
Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected by these terms and conditions.
