Crime-fighting canines pose for charity calendar
- Published
Lincolnshire's crime-fighting canines have been captured on camera for a charity calendar to help retired service animals.
It features snaps of the dogs, who all work with Lincolnshire Police, and some of the county's most recognisable landmarks.
Money from the sale of the calendar will go to the National Foundation for Retired Service Animals (NFRSA) to help pay for medical and veterinary bills.
Sgt Tom Richardson, from the force's dog section, said he was delighted to share the images of "our fantastic police dogs" and help support "a wonderful charity".
A spokesperson for the NFRSA said: “We are incredibly grateful to the wonderful Lincolnshire Police Dog Section for selecting the NFRSA as the recipients for funds raised from this beautiful calendar.
“Lady Bathurst, our founder, had the privilege of visiting earlier in the year and was delighted to meet the handlers and their exceptional dogs. This support means everything to retired service animals and we hope they’re added to everyone’s Christmas list this holiday season.”
The calendar costs £10 and is available from Lincolnshire Police.
