Episode 5: The advertising challenge Philip and Lorraine clash

Philip and Lorraine clash

It was only two weeks ago, on the fitness product task, that Lorraine and Philip got a rare pat on the back for their 'exceptional work' from Sir Alan. Fast forward to this week and the pair are at each other's throats.

'Me and Lorraine don't really see eye to eye,' Philip says to camera early on in the day. Whatever Philip likes, Lorraine dislikes. Lorraine thinks the Pants Man character is 'silly,' Philip snaps that she 'thinks she's Steven Spielberg's cousin' with her idea for a campaign based around fruit cartoon characters.

Kimberly's team drips with negativity and Lorraine is seen to be at the root of the problem. She thinks she's the innocent party, raising her issue with the 'negative feedback' she's getting fromΒ the teamΒ as 'not very nice,' but her comments doΒ easily irritateΒ her colleagues, particularly fiery Philip.

Philip jumps to the bait at the smallest criticism and is on the defensive over his Pants Man character. He thinks it's brilliant, but it's beyond the comprehension of Sir Alan, who writes it off as 'total garbage.'

Sir Alan, Nick and Margaret have got a firm eye on 'awkward' Lorraine and 'bulldozer' Philip. Both have yet to lead a task and prove their managerial abilities. Will they simmer down next week?
