Episode 2: A hungry business Boardroom highlights

Boardroom highlights

After last week's victory, the boys went on to lose the second task. They thought they were on to a winning streak with sandwich shop entrepreneur Rocky as their project manager, but their Olympic food theme failed. The boys lost money. 'A total mess,' roared Sir Alan.

In the boardroom, Sir Alan wanted answers. Twenty-one year old Rocky makes sandwiches for a living, but failed to make a profit on this task. 'I'm embarrassed,' he admitted.

Philip's disastrous sales pitch at the Chicago Law firm for the evening service didn't escape Sir Alan's eagle eye either. Nick pointed out that the price per head fell from Β£60 to Β£15, with no changes to the offering. 'You looked like a spiv,' barked Sir Alan.

Rocky brought Howard and James back into the boardroom for the final round. Majid, who came up with the disastrous Olympian theme, Noorul, who was spotted doing nothing at the event and Philip, managed to escape the firing line and were sent home to the penthouse.

James pleaded with Sir Alan for another chance, coming up with the unusual excuse that he had 'a foot in mouth problem'. Howard was convinced he was the wrong man to come back to the boardroom, even though he failed to step in and help rescue the failing task.

Ultimately it was Rocky that took the blame for his series of 'immature mistakes'. Sir Alan's final words were, 'your career at Middlesbrough was halted and you were taken off the pitch in a stretcher. This time you're taken off in a black cab. You're fired'.
