World Trade Center ticket

World Trade Center ticket

In October 1994 I visited New York City for the first time. Of course I visited all the tourist sights including taking the fast lift to the observation deck of the World Trade Center. It was a beautiful clear Autumn day and the views from the top were staggering.
For some reason I kept the ticket. It escaped my occasional clearouts and I found it again a couple of years ago, tucked away in a pot of keys and pens at the back of a cupboard. Such an inconsequential little thing but it now has so much meaning and emotion attached to it. A little piece of the place where the world changed.

On the back it says "All packages are subject to inspection".
