Roles and responsibilities
- Eva leads Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Film, the film development and production arm of the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ, supporting the production of around 15 feature films each year and running a broad development slate
- Sitting within the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ’s Content division, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Film offers end-to-end creative, production and business support for films and filmmakers through every stage of the filmmaking process.
Biography
Eva started her career at Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Scotland, moving onto production and development roles at UK Film Council and Revolution Films. Eva rejoined the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ in 2017 and became Director of Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Film in 2022. At the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ she has commissioned and executive produced over 40 features, including Charlotte Wells’ Oscar-nominated and BAFTA-winning Aftersun; Charlotte Regan’s Sundance Grand Jury Prize-winning Scrapper; Aleem Khan’s BAFTA and six-time BIFA-winning After Love; Georgia Oakley’s BAFTA-nominated Blue Jean; and the directorial debuts of Raine Allen-Miller (Rye Lane), Remi Weekes (His House), Dionne Edwards (Pretty Red Dress), Sam H. Freeman and Ng Choon (Femme), Aneil Karia (Surge) and Fyzal Boulifa (Lynne + Lucy). More recently Eva has Executive Produced Mahalia Belo’s The End We Start From; Sandhya Suri’s Santosh; Rungano Nyoni’s On Becoming A Guinea Fowl; James Hawes’ One Life and Andrea Arnold’s Bird.
Eva joined the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ from Film4, where she executive produced Rungano Nyoni’s BAFTA-winning I Am Not A Witch, and worked across titles including American Honey, Carol, 45 Years, and Suffragette.

Expenses are costs incurred by Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ staff on behalf of the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ and claimed through the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's expenses system.
Central bookings are costs incurred on behalf of the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ and booked through the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's central bookings system. Both expenses and central bookings are published every three months.
